Here's the rules to the site. Read them carefully, and be sure you've read them so you aren't shocked if I kick out from the site.

1. You must be literate! This means correct punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and indentation.

2. I won't see any racism, sexism, discrimination against age, or any other type of segregation or discrimination. If you do something like this, it's an automatic account deletion. No warnings.

3. Try to keep the site advanced. I have posted a guide to literacy and putting up a good post. If I tell you to- read it. Posts should be at least one paragraph (5-6 sentences) in length. Believe-you-me, I would appreciate it very much if people made them longer, since I know I will, but if five sentences is all you can pump out at the moment, it's totally acceptable.

4. I or another admin must approve your character biography before you do any RPGing.

5. No god-moding, power playing, or whatever you want to call it. This includes making another character speak, have them do something, or anything else. However, if you get permission from the person you're RPing with, you can very briefly control their character just to keep the story moving.

6. Do not ask to be a Staff Member or Admin. I choose people I like and think are worthy of being Staff. I'll probably only have one or two other admins, so don't be shocked if you've been on the site for months and I don't promote you.

7. No overkills. This includes extremely effective attacks, abilities, etc. as well as very talented characters with over-powerful skills.

8. Non-Player Characters, wild enemies, etc. are only to be played by by Staff, unless a Staff Member gives you permission.

9. Use OOC when using it in the same post as an IC post. Things like brackets ( [_] ), dividers ( |_| ), double parentheses ( ((_)) ), and things like that are good.

10. You may have up to 5 characters, but please don't make them all at once. Also, try not to make them interact much. It gets confusing when two characters controlled by the same person have a conversation.

11. You are allowed to have a travel partner, or travel in groups, but don't have too many characters traveling together. Then not much is happening where the group isn't, and people may feel left out. You do NOT have to have a travel partner.

12. No killing other characters unless the player controlling the character allows it.

13. Romance between characters- a little bit is okay, but keep it PG-13, like the rest of the site.

14. I will allow animals to breed under certain circumstances. The two animals must not be of the same species, but at least of the same 'type' meaning that reptiles should only be with reptiles, mammals with mammals, birds with birds, you know the drill. However, since I don't want animal hybrids appearing, the two users that control the two animals must decide on their own what species the child will end up being, as well as which user gets to control the child. Both users MUST contact ME before going about the breeding, though, before actually having the child.

15. I've received questions about inventories, so I'll explain them a little bit here.
Each character, once created, will have a sub-board created for them in the 'Character Storages' board. The user that controls that character must then create threads in that sub-board to show a few things- what battle items (things like Holy Bones, Apples, Exorcism Slips, Mermaid Coins, the works) they have with them at the time, what Key Items (things that are required for them to reach a certain area or advance the plot) they have with them at the time, how much Yen and Divine Beads they have, what fish they have with them, what treasures they have with them, and what mail they've received. You start out with certain items that are specified in the locked thread in the Character Storages board. If you need an example, look at one of my own character's storages.

16. This one isn't so much a rule, but if you have any questions, feel free to PM Skopz, or post them in the questions board.
