![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Hiyaru Village (Hih - AHR - oo Vihl - ig) This large, modern city would be considered bustling, compared to the rest of this strange continent. This is where the port is where people come from other parts of the world. Most visitors to Huntain usually come here before anywhere else, mainly because this is the most occupied by people. ![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Tyan Valley (3 sub-boards) (tyahn val - EE) This huge grassy valley is right outside the borders of Hiyaru. The monsters here are weak, compared to the ones on the rest of Huntain. Tyan Valley is inbetween two tall cliffs, each about 20 feet above the ground of the valley. ![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Loraku Woods (1 sub-board) (lorr - AH - koo Woods) A large tunnel in the cliffside of Tyan Valley leads gradually into a deep forest known as the Loraku Woods. Deep in the woods there is said to be mystic shrine guarded by a monstrous beast. After entering the woods, no man has ever come back. Mermaid Spring available Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Eundo Ruins (YOON - doh Roo - ins) A tiny, doorway-sized tunnel in the cliffside leads underground. Traveling down that tunnel will eventually lead you aboveground to what appears to be the ruins of an ancient village. Many monsters now inhabit the ruins, and have made it their kingdom. Many beasts that ransack travelers bring their loot here, so there is told that there is a large treasure guarded somewhere in the dangerous, booby-trapped ruins. Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Eastern Sashima River (sash - EE - muh Rih - ver) The Sashima River is a beautiful river that flows all throughout Huntain, supplying water to various reservoirs across the continent. The Eastern division of the river is prosperous in fish and it flows gently westward, making it easy to travel on. Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Doshima Path (DOSH - ee - muh Path) As you move westward in between the cliffs of Tyan Valley, the cliffs eventually part to the side, revealing a large, grassy plain with a dirt path running through it. By cutting your way across the large field, you can make your way into Central Huntain. Many bandits and other villains hunt in this plain, waiting for travelers to ransack, so be on your guard! ![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Gogyumizu Village (1 sub-board) (gog - yoo - MEE - zoo Vil - ag) The Sashima river runs westward from Tyan Valley into a large pond about the size of a small village. Out of the pond very tall trees grow, and on the branches of those trees, you'll find a village. The thick branches make it easy to travel from treehouse-to-treehouse as you traverse through this village. However, most of the people here are dangerous hunters who don't associate well with outsiders. However, the children that spend their time on the upper levels of the forest are very friendly. ![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Kinsoku Tunnels (2 sub-boards) (kin - so - KOO Tun - uls) When exiting Gogyumizu Village, travelers will come to a large cave in an enormous boulder. As travelers enter the cave, they traverse underground through a deep tunnel. They then reach a large open area in the cavern with several other tunnels branching off of it. These are the Kinsoku Tunnels- an abandoned mine that used to be used for harvesting metals until it became inhabited by monsters and was only now traveled through by explorers. ![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Jaki Stronghold (JAH - kee Strong - hold) The Jaki are a tribe of imps and other beasts that hate the light, which is why they make their home below ground. A tunnel in the Kinsoku Tunnels leads to a large, open room with several other tunnels branching off from it, forming a large, underground complex. This is the Jaki Stronghold, where their tribe resides. Their leader, Rorino is found at the deepest part of their Stronghold and has never been defeated. Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Heru's Stairway (1 sub-board) (HEER - ooz Stahr - way) Heru is the Japanese word for Hell, so you can imagine how treacherous this passage is. One tunnel in the Kinsoku Tunnels main room is a long path full of twists and turns, making it hard to navigate. Many monsters also live along this tunnel, feasting on the travelers that come down it. If you can make it all the way through the deadly tunnel, a majestic sanctuary awaits you where a beautiful divine creature is said to live. Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Ranpu Passage (Ran - poo Pas - ig) After spending a long time traversing through the Kinsoku Tunnels, one will come to an upward-sloping passage known to travelers as the Ranpu Passage. This tunnel leads out of the tunnels for good, rising above ground and coming out into a large desert that marks the first stop in Western Huntain. Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0

![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Sabure Desert (1 sub-board) (Sab - OO - ray Dess - ert) When exiting the Kinsoku Tunnels, one will walk out into a scorching desert that stretches on for miles. Yellow sand and cacti are all the eye can see, along with monsters running about the dunes. This is the Sabure Desert, a major turning point for travelers, as this stretch of land has the furthest distance from any village over anywhere else in Huntain. Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Rondunyo City (1 sub-board) At the most western part of the Sabure Desert, you will come to a large city along the coast of the ocean separating Huntain and Nippon. The desert lightens up in this area, and you will actually find trees and grass. However, most of the city is covered in pavement, like most cities are. This village is abundant in people of many social classes. You'll find tons of villagers here, each with information to give or tasks to be taken care of. There is also a large building in the center of town called the 'Rondunyo Dome' where tournaments pitting fighters against fighters are held. Travelers may want to stop by and perhaps participate in a few matches. The Sashima River also flows into this town, in a large lake at the corner of the city. ![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | The Monk's Garden A path leading from Rondunyo City runs for about a mile until coming to a large, Japanese tranquility garden with a small wooden cottage in the corner. This is where Janishi, the Monk lives. Not much is known about him, but people living in the city make up rumors that he's an evil wizard since he never leaves his garden, even to get food. He spends almost all day meditating there, and people say that he has magical powers from spending his life in such tranquility. Who knows what will happen if you visit him? Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Gorukino Temple South of Rondunyo City, through the desert, one will come to a large stone temple standing as tall as a skyscraper. Inside the many-floored temple, travelers will come across many monsters tougher than ever encountered before. Booby-traps are all over, and it will take amazing strength and cunning to make it through. Each stairway leading to the next floor of the temple is guarded by a large statue that comes to life when awoken from their slumber. A 'Gift of the Gods' is said to be found at the top, but no one has ever even been able to enter, as what appears to be the doorway to enter the temple is blocked shut by a large boulder, unable to be moved by strength alone. ![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | Pantaku Manor (pan - TAH - koo Man - er) By heading north-west through the desert, one will eventually come to a cooler, less harsh part of the extreme desert that covers the western part of Huntain. This corner of the desert would be slightly peaceful if it weren't for the large complex known as the Pantaku Manor. The layout of the manor is actually less like a mansion, but more like a large courtyard in the center with rooms built around it. History and information about this dungeon are found in the stickied thread in this board Mermaid Spring available Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 1 | 1 | on Apr 19, 2008, 8:06pm by Skopz in The Mystery of Pantaku... |
![[ ]](http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/267/gtboardicon2dh2.jpg) | The Southern Coast By going as far south through the desert as you can, travelers will eventually reach Huntain's southern coastline- a sandy beach with a view of the ocean which stretches forever over the horizon. There are many islands south of Huntain that can be reached by sailing over this coast, but since the ocean is heavily plagued with monsters and other treacheries, no one ever dares sail over it. Another way must be found to go from this coast to the chain of islands to the South. Moderators: Ammy, Skopz | 0 | 0
